Media Center News

Book Club met on Tuesday, March 28 to discuss the novel, Oryx and Crake by Margaret Atwood. Those that attended enjoyed the book though they all agreed that Atwood is a bit strange. Our next Book Club novel is BLACKBIRD HOUSE by Alice Hoffman. We plan to meet on Tuesday, April 25.

During April and May I will be conducting the following after school workshops:
April 5 - Blogs
April 27 - Digital Storytelling
May 10 - Wikis or Value of Graphic Novels in the Classroom

Welcome Northern Knights!

The WLN Media Center is starting its own blog. I'd love for us to keep in touch about what's going on in the media center. I will let you know what's going on here, and you can always give suggestions on new books, new contests, book reviews, and even complaints. I promise to listen to everything!!!

Book Club
We are always looking for new members. For our January meeting we read Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden. One of our members even brought in Japanese candy to go with the theme. Our next meeting is Tuesday, January 28, when we will discuss Northanger Abbey by Jane Austen. Please join us!!!
